the story behind the brand
Anthony Waldren didn’t grow up with the right connections, the right neighborhood, or the right resources. He grew up with hunger. Raised in Landover, Maryland, he found art early and held onto it like a lifeline. When someone laughed at his dream and told him he’d be a starving artist, he didn’t argue. He made it his brand.
That origin story became the foundation of his first book, Starvin’ Artist: Hunger for Success — a raw, honest memoir about building something real from the kind of circumstances most people make excuses about. His follow-up, Starvin’ Artist: The Hustler’s Guide to Creative Entrepreneurship (coming soon), turns that same lens outward, giving creative entrepreneurs the blueprint he had to figure out the hard way.
He’s been running Starvin’ Artist Graphic Design for over twenty years. The portfolio is strong. But the reason clients trust him isn’t the work. It’s the proof. He’s been in the fire and came out building. That’s what you get when you work with Starvin’ Artist Graphic Design.
